DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Xzavie Jackson (DL, Nebraska Danger)
Xzavie Jackson, the IFL's all-time sack leader, had another game that helped cement his legacy as one of the best IFL defenders in history as the Nebraska Danger blasted the Green Bay Blizzard 59-23 in Week 3. Early in the second quarter Jackson (6'3, Univ.of Missouri) stripped Blizzard QB Christian Lemay of the ball and returned the fumble 20 yards for a Danger score. The defensive touchdown helped give the Danger an insurmountable 35-7 first half lead. Jackson went on to finish the game with two sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss and four total tackles. With his two sacks, Jackson has now tallied 80 career IFL sacks and currently leads the IFL with three in 2018. Jackson and the Nebraska Danger travel to face the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 4.
