OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Darrell Monroe (RB, Arizona Rattlers)
With a 73-60 victory over the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles in Week 9, the Arizona Rattlers have won four out of their last five games and are one of the hottest teams in the IFL. Breaking their strong tradition of being among the passing yardage leaders, the 2017 Rattlers rank second in rushing averaging 107 yards per game. Leading the charge in Week 9 was RB Darrell Monroe. Monroe (6'2,220, Arizona Western) proved to be a juggernaut as the Rattlers inched towards the endzone as he barreled in for five rushing touchdowns, the most in the IFL this season. He finished his performance on the night with 14 rushes for 80 yards, an impressive 5.7 yards per carry. He also added two receptions for 16 yards. Monroe leads the Rattlers in rushing yards on the season with 256 and has scored 7 touchdowns this season. The Rattlers host longtime foe the Spokane Empire in Week 10.
