SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Korey Ringer (KR, Nebraska Danger)

After starting the season 3-0, the Nebraska Danger lost their first game of the season in Week 5, falling to the Arizona Rattlers 62-49. Damaged by the season-ending loss of QB Damien Fleming to injury, the Danger got a field position boost all game long due to the outstanding play of KR Korey Ringer. Ringer (5'10,Ferris State Univ.) started the game well as he returned his opening kickoff 51 yards. Ringer consistently gave Nebraska excellent starting field position due to his 10 kickoff returns for a season-high 209 yards. Ringer's 209 kickoff return yards are the most in the IFL this season and fourth most in IFL history. Ringer and the Nebraska Danger host the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 6.
