The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 3 of the 2017 IFL season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Derrick Bernard (QB, Nebraska Danger)
The Nebraska Danger topped the Colorado Crush 54-36 in Week 3 and added a second victory to the books this season thanks to quarterback Derrick Bernard. After taking over as QB late last season, Bernard guided the Danger to a playoff victory and a strong offensive start this season. Against the Crush, Bernard completed 13 of 22 passes for 143 yards and six touchdowns. Bernard also rushed for 57 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns. Through three weeks, the dual-threat QB leads the IFL with 10 rushing touchdowns, six more than any other IFL player. Bernard will look to lead the IFL's number two ranked offense against the Sioux Falls Storm in Week 4.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyree Robinson (DB, Spokane Empire)
In a high scoring, back and forth affair the Spokane Empire came up just short to the Wichita Falls Nighthawks 56-57 in Week 3. Big plays from Empire DB Tyree Robinson helped keep the Empire in the game and slow the offensive onslaught of the Wichita Falls Nighthawks all night long. Less than a minute before halftime, Robinson snagged an interception from reigning IFL MVP Charles McCullum and then raced to the endzone to even up the score right before halftime. Robinson, who had 80 tackles for the Empire in 2016, led the team with nine tackles against the Nighthawks. He also added one tackle for loss and one pass breakup. The Spokane Empire travel to face off against inter-conference foe the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles in Week 4.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tanner Graeber (K, Witchita Falls Nighthawks)
The Wichita Falls Nighthawks defeated the Spokane Empire 57-56 in double overtime in part to consistent and reliable play from Kicker Tanner Graeber. In a game where every point mattered, Graeber scored 15 total points for the Nighthawks, including the deciding extra point in overtime. Graeber finished the game converting three of five field goals and six of seven extra point attempts. The Wichita Falls Nighthawks travel to play the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 4.
