Barnstormers vs. Blizzard: Round 4

Des Moines, IA – The Iowa Barnstormers (10-2) look for its ninth win in a row as they take on the Green Bay Blizzard (2-11) on Friday, May 26, 2017. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. CST at the Wells Fargo Arena.
 
Last week, the Barnstormers defeated the Wichita Falls Nighthawks with a 50-47 win on the road last Saturday. Kicker Kenton Chun kicked the game-winning field goal with four seconds left in the game to give Iowa its eighth consecutive win. Quarterback Travis Partridge scored seven total touchdowns with five coming through the air. Receivers Brady Roland hauled in two touchdowns, while Ryan Balentine had a team-high 54 receiving yards and one touchdown. Defensively, linebacker Javicz Jones had a team-high six tackles, while defensive end Ra'Shawde Myers had four tackles and one sack. Iowa now moves into second place in the United Conference with four games left in the regular season.
 
Last week, the Blizzard fell to the Nebraska Danger on the road 41-25. Quarterback Greg McGhee threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns, while also scoring one rushing touchdown. Receivers Jack Bramswig and Jason Oden Jr. each picked up one receiving touchdown. On the defensive side for Green Bay, corners Keith Reynolds had a team-high eight tackles, while Tyrell Pearson had six tackles and two interceptions.
 
The Barnstormers will also be hosting their Annual Wells Fargo Military Night presented by Hy-Vee Homefront. The night will start with Military personnel joining the Barnstormers as they enter the field with the National Anthem performed by the 34th Army Band. Fans can also enjoy $2 beers through the second quarter of the game.
