Green Bay, WI- The Green Bay Blizzard have announced that former Green Bay Packers linebacker Josh Francis has signed with the team for the 2018 season.
After graduating from the University of West Virginia, Francis (6'1, 240, West Virginia) spent time with the Green Bay Packers in 2015 . Francis spent the last two seasons as a member of the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. Francis finished his two-year stint with the Nighthawks with 55 total tackles, five sacks and ten tackles for loss.
"Josh is an explosive player who can definitely help us. During the recruiting process we talked a lot about how he can help our program turn the corner. We also talked a lot about how we can help him get himself back into an NFL situation. He's just 26 years old right now and I truly believe that he can do the things that will get him back to that level…and most importantly so does he," stated Blizzard Head Coach Chris Williams.
In another personnel move today, the Blizzard also added wide receiver Bobby Goldsby (6'4" 225- Alabama A&M) to the 2018 roster.
