Titans Sign Former CFL Running Back

CEDAR RAPIDS: The Titans have announced that the team has signed Bacone College running back, Tyler Thomas.

Following his collegiate career Thomas was signed by the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos. He played one season for the Eskimos and one season for the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Thomas ranks #3 all-time in single game kick return yardage in the CFL. "This a great opportunity to continue my career with the Titans. I look forward to this upcoming season and what I'll be able to bring to the offense", said Thomas.

The Titans also announced the re-signing of linebacker Anthony Wallace. Wallace joins the Titans for his second season with the team. He played 5 games for the Titans last year and finished with 15 tackles and one pass break up. The 6'0, 227lb Dallas native began his college career with Oregon before transferring to North Texas after his Sophomore season.  He finished his Senior season with 83 tackles, 1 pass break up and 1 fumble recovery. He was a member of the Dallas Cowboys training camp roster in 2016.

The Titans will begin the team's 7th Indoor Football League season this February at the U.S. Cellular Center. The team's 2018 schedule will be released in October.  Head Coach Marvin McNutt is currently contacting 2017 season tickets holders have to secure their 2017 seats for the 2018 season.
