The Green Bay Blizzard is excited to announce the signings of DL Cory Grissom, WR Erick Brundidge, and OL Kenneth Woodget.
Grissom (6'3,320, South Florida) returns to the Blizzard after leading the Blizzard in sacks, (3.5) and tackles for loss (6.5) in 2017. Grissom finished his 2017 campaign with the team with 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, an interception and one pass breakup.
"Corey is arguably one of the best defensive linemen at our level," said Blizzard Head Coach Chris Williams. "He was highly rated coming out of college and got shots with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. I am truly expecting domination from Cory in 2018. I am glad the heartbeat of our squad is back."
Brundidge (6'1, 190 ,West Chester) returns to Green Bay after playing with the Blizzard in 2016. During seven games with the team that season, Brundidge caught eight passes for 80 yards and three touchdown receptions.
"He (Brundidge) came to us after working out for the Green Bay Packers in 2016", stated Williams "He battled some injuries and was out of our program for a short while. Now he is truly re-focused and ready to compete. The WR battle will be a sight to see!"
Woodget (6'4,365, Minnesota State - Mankato) returns to Green Bay for the 2018 season after playing along the offensive line the past two seasons. A stalwart offensive lineman, Woodget helped anchor a Blizzard offensive line that rushed for 22 touchdowns last season.
