The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 11 of the 2018 IFL season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bryan Hicks (QB, Green Bay Blizzard)
The Green Bay Blizzard won their first game of the 2018 season in Week 11 besting the Nebraska Danger 47-25. After struggling to pass the ball earlier this season, Green Bay found refuge in QB Bryan Hicks in Week 11. Finding his rhythm in the second and third quarters, Hicks' (6'1, Southwestern Univ.) effective passing helped Green Bay outscore the Danger 26-6 during that period. Fueled by an effective ground game by RB B.J Hill, Hicks passing proved dangerous as he connected with WR Kezlow Smith for multiple explosive touchdowns. Hicks finished the game completing 16 of 19 passes for 201 yards and six touchdowns. He also added 11 yards rushing. The Green Bay Blizzard host the Arizona Rattlers in Week 12.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jourdan Wickliffe (DB, Iowa Barnstormers)
The Iowa Barnstormers moved into second place in the IFL standings after knocking off the Sioux Falls Storm 49-42 in Week 11. The Barnstormers earned their first ever victory against the Storm in part to a game-changing turnover by DB Jourdan Wickliffe. Midway through the fourth quarter, with the Barnstormers holding onto a thin four point lead, Wickliffe (6'1, Eastern Illinois Univ.) intercepted a tipped Storm ball and returned it for 14 yards. Taking over at the Sioux Falls eight yard line, the Barnstormers scored a touchdown two plays later, giving the team an 10 point lead. The ten point lead proved to be a lead the team would not relinquish. In his first game back from Short Term IR, Wickliffe finished the matchup with five tackles, one interception and one pass breakup. The Iowa Barnstormers host the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 12.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Daniel Lindsey (KR, Cedar Rapids Titans)
A week after one of the highest scoring games in IFL history, the Cedar Rapids Titans got nipped again by the Arizona Rattlers 57-42 in Week 11. Titans KR Daniel Lindsey helped give the Titans strong field position throughout the game as he finished the night with 194 kick return yards on 10 kickoff returns. Lindsey's 194 kick return yards were the fourth most of the IFL season. In addition to his 194 yards, Lindsey (6'0, Fort Hays State Univ.) also added three tackles.This is Lindsey's second Special Teams Player of the Week award this season (Week 3) He currently ranks third in the IFL in all-purpose yards this season with 822. The Cedar Rapids Titans travel to face the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 12.
