The Jacksonville Sharks have signed quarterback James Cahoon during the 2026 free agency frenzy, adding one of the Indoor Football League’s top young passers to their roster.
Cahoon (6'4, 215 lbs) joins the Sharks following an impressive All-Rookie season with the Iowa Barnstormers, where he threw for 2,888 yards and 56 touchdowns, while also rushing for 127 yards and a score.
With his size, arm strength, and poise under pressure, Cahoon is poised to bring even more firepower to the Sharks’ offense heading into the 2026 season.
