BARNSTORMERS NAME ANDRE COLES AS HEAD COACH

The Iowa Barnstormers have announced Andre Coles as the team’s new Head Coach, signing him to a two-year contract. Coles joins the organization effective immediately and will oversee all coaching duties as the Barnstormers prepare for the upcoming season.

Coles brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Barnstormers. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Head Coachand Offensive Coordinator for the Tulsa Oilers, helping lead the team to its first playoff appearance in franchise history.

In 2024, Coles took over as Head Coach of the Frisco Fighters, guiding the top offense in the Indoor Football League. Under his leadership, the Fighters averaged an impressive 52.8 points per game and finished the season with a 13-4 record. Coles had previously been part of the Frisco staff as the Offensive Assistant and Special Teams Coordinator in 2022 and 2023.

His coaching career began with the York Capitals, followed by a stint with the Jacksonville Sharks (NAL) before ultimately making his mark in the IFL.

The Iowa Barnstormers are excited to hand the reins to Coach Coles as the team gears up for another thrilling season of indoor football.
