A. Teams will be selected by winning percentage and Conference rankings.
- Number of Teams: 8
- Number of Rounds: 3
- Qualifiers: The 4 highest ranking teams in each conference.
- Round 1: The #1 seed and the #2 seed of each conference will host first round playoff matchups. Their opponents will be the #3 seed and the #4 seed (#1 seed will play the #4 seed and #2 seed will play the #3 seed in each conference).
- Round 2 (Conference Championship): The highest seed will host the lowest seed in each conference. The winners will be crowned Conference Champions.
- Round 3 (League Championship): The higher seeded Conference Champion (based on winning percentage and tie breakers, if necessary) will host the lower seeded Conference Champion in Henderson, Nevada. The winner of this game will be crowned The Dollar Loan Center IFL National Champion.
B. Tiebreakers:
- Teams with matching winning percentages will be selected on a series of tiebreakers. The first Team having an advantage in tiebreaker categories will be considered the higher seed. In ties involving three or more Member Teams, once a team is eliminated by the tiebreaker process, the process reverts back to Step 1 for all remaining teams. The tiebreaker process continues in a similar manner until the highest seeded team is determined. The following are the tiebreaker categories in order of relevance to determine seeding within Conference Play:
- Win / Loss Percentage
- Highest Conference Win Percentage
- Head-to-Head Record vs. Opponent(s) Involved in Tie
- Opponents Win Percentage (Strength of Schedule)
- Head-to-Head Point Differential vs. Opponent Involved in Tie
- Point Differential for the Season (Total Points Scored Minus Total Points Allowed)
2. To Determine the #1 overall seed:
- Win / Loss Percentage
- Head-to-Head Record vs. Opponent(s) Involved in Tie
- Opponents Win Percentage (Strength of Schedule)
- Head-to-Head Point Differential vs. Opponent Involved in Tie
- Point Differential for the Season (Total Points Scored Minus Total Points Allowed)
