SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm are set to play their 2019 home opener on Friday, March 22nd against the Quad City Steamwheelers. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Showtime will start at 6:45 PM.

The Sioux Falls Storm look to extend a three-game win streak after an overwhelming 52-18 victory over the Bismarck Bucks. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown finished the game with 167 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He also had 32 rushing yards and one touchdown. Running back Darrian Miller had 47 yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers Brandon Sheperd tallied 91 yards and two touchdowns while Damian Ford had 42 yards and one touchdown. Kicker Miles Bergner completed one field goal and seven extra points. Defensive back Trey Wafford lead the Thunder Defense with eight tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and two pass break-ups. Defensive backs Tre Dickerson had one forced fumble and six tackles while DeAndre Scott had six tackles and one fumble recovery and Matt McKoy had one interception for a touchdown. Defensive lineman Charles Williams had one tackle for loss and one pass break-up.
The Quad City Steamwheelers look to extend a one-game win streak after a 58-36 victory over the Cedar Rapids River Kings. In that game, quarterback E.J. Hilliard completed 12 passes for 147 yards and six touchdowns along with 30 rushing yards. Running back Juwan Lewis had 42 yards. Wide receivers Quinton Pedroza tallied 105 yards and four touchdowns along with 21 rushing yards and two touchdowns and Keyvan Rudd had 22 yards and two touchdowns. The Steamwheelers defense had 46 tackles, one sack and three tackles for loss.
