Stuckey joins the Wranglers for his first season in the Indoor Football League. Stuckey started his collegiate career at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Stuckey was a reliable starter on the offensive line for the Mustangs starting with his redshirt freshman season. Stuckey started at guard before transitioning to the center position as a junior. Stuckey was also a part of the team's leadership council. Stuckey earned his bachelor's degree from Cal Poly in sociology with a concentration in organizations. After receiving his degree, Stuckey transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his final season of eligibility. Stuckey brought starting experience and stability to the Rebels offensive line.
Stuckey is originally from Los Angeles, Calif., where he attended Cathedral High School. Stuckey was inspired to play football at a young age due to watching athletes such as Kobe Bryant and Warren Sapp. Stuckey stated, "I always had a love for Kobe Bryant growing up, and he got me into sports in general." Stuckey also added to this by saying, "I was always around other kids that motivated me to play sports, I struggled with asthma and getting cleared to play organized sports, I always played for fun with other kids." Stuckey also explained that his love for football developed from watching Warren Sapp highlights and interviews. Stuckey said, "I watched how Kobe and Warren carried themselves and worked, once I got my opportunity to play, I took it and never looked back."
When asked about what inspires him to continue to play today, Stuckey responded by saying, "My family, friends, and people around me that have supported me throughout my life are a big inspiration." Stuckey expanded on this by saying, "My mom was a single mother who always believed in my dream to play in the NFL and supported me. I want to give back to support her, and all those people in my family for the long run." Stuckey also explained that other members of his family were instrumental in supporting his journey. Stuckey stated, "I want to give a shoutout to my grandfather, who raised me to be determined, work hard, and be a go-getter." Stuckey also added to this by saying, "I also want to thank my dad who took me to my first football practice and also supported my dream."
When asked about what he is looking forward to about joining the Wranglers, Stuckey responded by saying, "I am excited to the opportunity to play against other professional athletes and compete with players that have the same career goals as me. I want to continue to play at the highest level possible." As far as what the Wranglers can expect from Stuckey on the field, he stated, "I am a player who will compete, work hard, and rise to the occasion on every drive and down." Stuckey also added to this by saying, "I want to also volunteer in the community to bring people together and lead by example as someone who can do more for others."
