VEGAS KNIGHT HAWKS FALL JUST SHORT, DEFEATED BY STRIKE FORCE

Although Mancusso and the Knight Hawks offense started their first drive with a turnover, the defense was able to hold San Diego to just a field goal. Stevie Artigue and the Knight Hawks answered back with a field goal of their own. However, going into the second period Terin Adams was able to pick off Mancusso for a second time, extending the San Diego lead.
 
Mancuso settled into the pocket later in the quarter and led the team down the field for the first touchdown of the game with the quarterback sneak. San Diego was able to answer back before the half with a touchdown of their own thanks to Carlos Thompson.
 
San Diego's momentum continued in the third with Denny Croft coming in as the new quarterback and scoring a rushing touchdown. Then, line-backer DJ Morgan with the fumble recovery which set them up for a field goal. The Knight Hawks were able to regain the lead thanks to a Davonte Sapp-Lynch rushing touchdown and Mancusso connecting with Caleb Holley to go up by seven at the end of the third.
 
San Diego responded with a field goal and a touchdown to start the fourth quarter to put them back in the lead. The Knight Hawks tied the game at 30 with a field goal, but then gave up a rushing touchdown again. Although they battled back within one, scoring a response touchdown of their own in the final seconds of the game, the PAT was no good. The Knight Hawks fell, 37-36.
