THE FIGHTERS TAKE DOWN THE STRIKE FORCE

San Diego stormed into Frisco and jumped on top early, scoring 50 points in the first half, but were unable to hold off the Fighters in the second half and come up short 70-56. The Strike Force fall to 3-6 while Frisco moves to 8-1 atop the Eastern Conference.

Nate Davis had another stellar performance – throwing for 247 yards and six touchdowns. Kentrez Bell and Carlos Thompson both continued to be prime targets, bringing in three touchdowns each and 143 yards and 82 yards respectively.

The Strike Force was unable to slow down the Frisco rushing attack, giving up 121 yards on the ground and six touchdowns. Despite winning the time of possession battle, the Strike Force allowed the Fighters to score on all but one trip into the redzone.

A late San Diego turnover led to a 15-point swing that put Frisco in the lead until the final whistle.
