IFL COACHES POLL: WEEK 9
Week 9 brought another shake-up to the IFL Coaches Poll as several teams continued building momentum heading into the second half of the season.
The race across the Indoor Football League continues to tighten as teams head into the second half of the 2026 season, and Week 9 brought several major shifts inside this week's IFL Coaches Poll. Statement wins, winning streaks and late-game
battles all played a role in reshaping the rankings.
The Green Bay Blizzard remain firmly in the No. 1 spot after another strong performance, while the reigning champion Vegas Knight Hawks continue to hold steady at No. 2. The biggest movement inside the top five came from the Jacksonville Sharks and Arizona Rattlers, who each climbed one spot following key Week 9 victories.
Jacksonville extended its winning streak to four straight games and continues to look like one of the hottest teams in the league entering Week 10. Arizona also continued to reestablish itself among the league's elite after another dominant offensive showing on Sunday Night Indoor Football.
Meanwhile, the Fishers Freight fell two spots after a road loss to the Orlando Pirates, who moved up to No. 6 following one of their biggest wins of the season. Orlando has quietly continued building momentum in the Eastern Conference and now finds itself firmly in the upper half of the poll.
Further down the rankings, the San Antonio Gunslingers moved up one position after securing their third consecutive victory in dramatic fashion against the Northern Arizona Wranglers. The Tulsa Oilers remain at No. 8, while the Quad City Steamwheelers slipped one position to No. 10.
With the season reaching its midway point and several marquee matchups still ahead, every game is beginning to carry added weight as teams battle for positioning and momentum heading into the second half of the year.
