The exciting 2026 IFL season has reached the midway point as Week 10 kicks off this weekend. With seven games on the docket, two being a part of the inaugural IFL in-season tournament, the stakes are beginning to rise.
This week will be pivotal for a ton of teams trying to establish their place and those looking to maintain their success. Here's the games to keep a look out for this weekend.
Tucson Sugar Skulls (2-5) at Quad City Steamwheelers (2-6)
Kickoff: Friday, May 15, 8 p.m. EDT
Venue: Vibrant Arena at The Mark
Tucson heads to Quad City aiming to rebound from a 66–14 loss to Arizona. The Sugar Skulls continue to search for defensive consistency, allowing 46.7 points per game. Linebacker Djimon Brooks led the effort last week with seven tackles. Quarterback Tasleem Wilson threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns but struggled to sustain drives.
Quad City enters after a 65–40 loss to Green Bay but remains the league's top rushing defense, giving up just 52.4 yards per game. Alex Herriott posted seven tackles and a sack in Week 9, while quarterback Daquan Neal delivered 194 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and two rushing scores. Neal leads the IFL in passing touchdowns (31) and completions (124).
The matchup hinges on whether Wilson can withstand Quad City's pressure and keep pace with Neal's league-leading production.
San Diego Strike Force (4-2) at San Antonio Gunslingers (3-3)

San Diego returns from a Week 9 bye with one of the league's top defenses, ranking second in total yards allowed. Elijah Reed led the secondary with eight tackles in their last outing, while quarterback Nate Davis threw for 209 yards and five touchdowns. Davis ranks second in passing yards per game (200.3) and third in touchdowns (25).
San Antonio enters after a dramatic 30–29 win over Northern Arizona. The Gunslingers own the league's top overall and passing defense, allowing just 118.3 passing yards per game. Kendre Gant recorded eight solo tackles last week, and quarterback Fred Payton Jr. added 95 passing yards and three touchdowns.
With two elite defenses on the field, the game may come down to whether Davis can find openings against the IFL's best secondary.
Jacksonville Sharks (5-1) at Fishers Freight (5-3)
Kickoff: Saturday, May 16, 7 p.m. EDT

Jacksonville enters Week 10 after a 41–34 win over Tulsa. The Sharks boast the league's third-ranked scoring defense. Michael Moore earned IFL Defensive Player of the Week honors with 13 tackles, three tackles for loss and a pass breakup.
Quarterback James Cahoon added 179 passing yards and three touchdowns and ranks fourth in completion percentage (65.2%).
Fishers Freight looks to rebound from a 60–57 loss to Orlando. The Freight defense is allowing 42.4 points per game. Jaiden Roe recorded nine tackles and an interception last week, while running back Dominic Roberto powered the offense with 102 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
The matchup pits Jacksonville's disciplined defense against a Freight offense capable of explosive scoring.
Green Bay Blizzard (7-1) at Tulsa Oilers (2-4)

Green Bay travels to Tulsa riding a dominant stretch following a 65–40 win over Quad City. The Blizzard secondary remains one of the league's best. Franky West Jr. posted eight tackles and an interception last week, while quarterback Liam Thompson threw for 207 yards and five touchdowns. Thompson ranks second in passing touchdowns (29).
Tulsa is coming off a narrow 41–34 loss to Jacksonville. The Oilers allowed 44 points per game but saw a strong performance from Fredrick Mallay, who recorded 10 tackles.
Quarterback TJ Edwards threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns and ranks third in passing yards per game (198.8).
Tulsa will need a standout defensive effort to slow a Green Bay offense that ranks second in scoring.
Iowa Barnstormers (1-5) at Northern Arizona Wranglers (0-6)
Kickoff: Sunday, May 17, 7:30 p.m. EDT
Venue: Findlay Toyota Center
Iowa returns from a Week 9 bye looking to stabilize a defensive unit that is allowing 48.8 points per game. In their last outing before the break, defensive back Jon Adams Jr. anchored the secondary with a key interception.
On offense, quarterback Dante Aviles-Santos provided the spark with 207 passing yards and four touchdowns. He has been efficient pushing the ball downfield, ranking fourth in the IFL in yards per attempt (9.0).
The Barnstormers face a Northern Arizona team coming off a 30–29 loss to San Antonio. Despite their winless record, the Wranglers have fielded a strong defensive unit that ranks fourth in scoring defense.
Dayvia Gbor totaled eight tackles and forced a fumble in Week 9 and is tied for fifth in the league with 21 assisted tackles.
Offensively, Northern Arizona showed renewed life behind new quarterback Anthony Garrett, who took over under center and led a competitive effort with two rushing touchdowns against San Antonio.
Both teams seek a reset as Iowa looks to string two straight wins and Northern Arizona aims for its first win.
Arizona Rattlers (5-2) at New Mexico Chupacabras (1-5)
Kickoff: Monday, May 18, 7 p.m. EDT
Venue: American Dream Mall
Arizona enters the first game of Monday's doubleheader after a 66–14 rout of Tucson.
The Rattlers strengthened their hold on a top-five defensive ranking. Yahsyn McKee Sr. recorded two interceptions and seven tackles.
Quarterback Drew Powell totaled six touchdowns—two passing and four rushing. Kicker Matthew Cook went 8-for-8 on extra points and added four deuces.
New Mexico returns from a bye with one of the league's most efficient defenses, ranking third in total yards allowed and second against the pass.
Tykorian Brown led the defense with five tackles in their last game, while Ja'rome Johnson threw for 177 yards and four total touchdowns.
The matchup features Arizona's high-powered offense against New Mexico's disciplined secondary.
Vegas Knight Hawks (5-1) at Orlando Pirates (4-2)
Kickoff: Monday, May 18, 7 p.m. EDT
Venue: American Dream Mall
Vegas closes the Week 10 slate after a bye week. The Knight Hawks own a top-five defense, allowing 213.7 yards per game. Terry Roberts recorded 11 tackles in their last outing, while quarterback Jayden DeLaura threw for 105 yards and a touchdown. DeLaura ranks second in completion percentage (73.1%).
Orlando enters after a 60–57 win over Fishers Freight, powered by the league's top passing attack. Quarterback Paxton DeLaurent completed 28 of 31 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns and leads the IFL in passing yards per game (206.7) and completion percentage (76.3%).
