IFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: WEEK 10
The Indoor Football League is proud to recognize the top performances from Week 10 of the 2026 season, highlighted by a dominant defensive outing from the Arizona Rattlers, an explosive performance from Jacksonville quarterback James Cahoon and a strong special teams showing from NAZ kicker Nestor Manuel Higuera.
The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for Week 10 of the 2026 IFL season. James Cahoon (JAX) is named Offensive Player of the Week, the Arizona Rattlers defense is named Defensive Player of the Week, and Nestor Manuel Higuera (NAZ) is named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week – James Cahoon, QB, Jacksonville Sharks
Cahoon delivered a standout performance for the Jacksonville Sharks in Week 10, completing 24-of-30 passes for 260 yards and five touchdowns. The veteran quarterback efficiently led the Sharks offense throughout the night, consistently finding playmakers and helping Jacksonville secure another key victory.
Defensive Player of the Week – Arizona Rattlers Defense
The Arizona Rattlers defense turned in one of the most dominant defensive performances of the 2026 season in Week 10. Arizona totaled 32 tackles, three sacks, 10 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, five interceptions and four pass breakups. The unit consistently pressured the quarterback and created turnovers, helping swing momentum throughout the game.
Special Teams Player of the Week – Nestor Manuel Higuera, K, NAZ Wranglers
Higuera made a major impact for the NAZ Wranglers on special teams in Week 10, converting six-of-seven point-after attempts while adding three deuces and 15 total points. His ability to generate points in multiple ways helped power Northern Arizona to its first victory of the season.
