IFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: WEEK 18
The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for Week 18 of the 2026 season. TJ Edwards (TUL) is named Offensive Player of the Week, Dywan Griffin (NAZ) is named Defensive Player of the Week, and Andrew Mevis (GB) is named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Week 18 delivered several standout performances across the Indoor Football League, including a seven-touchdown outing from a quarterback, a three-interception day from a defensive back, and a second straight Special Teams Player of the Week performance from one of the league's top kickers. For their efforts, Tulsa's TJ Edwards, Northern Arizona's Dywan Griffin, and Green Bay's Andrew Mevis have earned Player of the Week honors.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: TJ EDWARDS, QB, TULSA OILERS
TJ Edwards turned in one of the most impressive performances of the 2026 season, accounting for seven total touchdowns in Tulsa's pivotal Week 18 victory.
The Oilers quarterback completed 18 of 23 passes for 182 yards and six touchdowns while adding 49 rushing yards and another score on the ground. Edwards was in complete control from the opening kickoff, leading Tulsa's offense to a critical victory as the Oilers remain firmly in the playoff hunt entering the final two weeks of the regular season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DYWAN GRIFFIN, DB, NAZ WRANGLERS
Dywan Griffin delivered a game-changing performance for the Wranglers defense in Week 18.
The Northern Arizona defensive back recorded two tackles, one tackle for loss, three interceptions, and a pass breakup. Griffin consistently disrupted the passing game and created multiple takeaways, helping the Wranglers secure a home victory. His three interceptions were the most by any player in a game this season.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: ANDREW MEVIS, K, GREEN BAY BLIZZARD
For the second consecutive week, Andrew Mevis earns Special Teams Player of the Week honors after another outstanding all-around performance.
The Green Bay kicker connected on his lone field goal attempt, converted all eight extra points, and added three deuces to finish with 17 total points. Mevis once again proved to be one of the league's most dangerous special teams weapons, helping the Blizzard continue their winning ways.
The 2026 IFL season continues Saturday as Week 19 action gets underway across the Indoor Football League.
