SHARKS LOCK IN TWO KEY PIECES ON OFFENSE

The Jacksonville Sharks have announced the re-signings of RB Jimmie Robinson Jr. and QB Blaine Espinoza, two key pieces of their offensive attack heading into the 2026 season.

Robinson (5’8, 185 lbs) returns as the Sharks’ primary kick returner and leading rusher. His first season in Jacksonville was cut short by a season-ending knee injury after just three games, but he still managed to post 124 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, along with 31 receiving yards and one touchdown through the air.

Before joining the Sharks, Robinson starred with the Massachusetts Pirates, where he earned multiple honors, including IFL All-Rookie Team, Second-Team Kick Returner, and First-Team Running Back selections.

Espinoza (6’3, 230 lbs) enters his second season in Jacksonville after appearing in six games last year. He tallied 12 rushing attempts for nine yards and two touchdowns while completing 10 of 14 passes for 125 yards and four passing touchdowns.

Both players bring explosive potential to the Sharks’ offense as the team looks to make a major impact in 2026.
